If you cannot predict accurately when you have greater control and certainty regarding the data, how can you hope to predict accurately when you have lesser control and accuracy? His point seems to be much the same as Freeman Dyson's regarding climate models. Also, it would seem that insofar as we have been able to back-check as it were certain climate predictions, they have been wrong.
