After all, there are certainly rocks deeply embedded in my yard that I have never seen and never expect to see.<br /><br />If "thoroughly woven into", then let me say that in the building where I work, there are probably 250 persons with college degrees. I would happily take the "under" on betting that half at most have read <i>Lolita</i>. Football is thoroughly woven into the culture. Jazz, rock & roll, and perhaps rap are thoroughly woven into the culture.
