The piece by Norm Geras that Maxine links to - Literary civilization threatened by... blogs - is characteristically incisive. I am familiar with Norm's work from seeing it linked to frequently by Glenn Reynolds. But I didn't know about Adele Geras or her books - and now that has been corrected.
