The points made about introductions are sound, it is good to see the trivialization of literature by seeing it solely through the prism of politics deplored, and the 1951 film of The Browning Version is excellent. Then there is the matter of beauty. The decisive component in any proposition is its aesthetic dimension. There is no truth without beauty.
