Having a "larger than life" character, etc, does not necessarily make one a decent mayor of London. He doesn't even live here (well, he bought somewhere for the purposes of standing as mayor, but actually he lives in the exclusive Oxfordshire town of Henley, -- he is their MP as it is a very, very Tory super-rich enclave). Oh yes, he is very charming, amusing, etc, and no doubt will have lots of laughs at the expense of those many of us struggling with the intolerable congestion and crumbling infrastructure of London, as we have to live and work here every day.
Well, that's certainly enlightening. Any chance he'll rise to the occasion? (I presume he is reasonably bright.)Is it possible he will do better than Ken?
