I have myself been seriously thinking that less may definitely be more when it comes to blogging, if only because more time spent on one good is time better spent on a clutch of routine posts.
I'm confident that you're right, Frank, but, knowing that work and other obligations will forever keep me from writing quite so many truly substantive posts as I'd like--one or so a week if I'm lucky--I enjoy the openness of the blog form to quicker, more casual posts in the interim. When done well, they can, I like to think, convey at least something about what I'm reading and why it's been worth my--and therefore maybe your--time.
