One good thing about being a retired book editor is that I won't have to sit through a screening of this film. I did have to sit through one of The Da Vinci Code. I remember marveling that the film was even worse than the book.

    Actually, I've heard that Angels & Demons is both a better book and a better movie than Da Vinci. Having never read or seen either, I can't say, but people I trust say so, so...

    Anyway, maybe, Frank, you could go to this (http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/cosmicvariance/2009/05/14/boris-on-angels-and-demons/) instead of seeing the movie.
