In Larry McMurtry's book Books he says of a fellow in Texas that he worked for that had Charlton Heston turned up with two stone tablets having 10 commandments cut on them, the fellow would have bought first and considered later. Perhaps rich flaky Texans are buying other stuff these days--but you'd think the Jordanians could find a softer & richer touch.
