Well, Vikram, it is, shall we say, rather general? You could insert any other nationality for "Indians," couldn't you. So meaningless works for me. Ignorant gives it too much credit for thought.
yes exactly. I dont think the writer has actually read the book. Why are Indian books about "themes" (he uses the word about God of Small things) and Western books about people?? Orientalism at play again?
