A morning roundup …

… courtesy of Rus Bowden:

… Bleakly occupied with isolation: All One Breath by John Burnside – review.

… Philosophical emcee: Culture and the Death of God review – has Terry Eagleton become the Jeremy Clarkson of philosophy?
Eagleton has sometimes been accused of bumptious egotism, but nothing could be further from the truth. If he has a unique selling point, it is his uncanny self-effacement. He is like a puppeteer who puts on a good show but refuses to appear before his audience in person. His books would be very different if he was prepared to let us know what questions really keep him awake at night, and whether he has got any clearer about them as time goes on.
Poem of the week: Look for Me by Vladislav Khodasevich.

… Really lovely: Tengami review – poetry in motion.

Margaret Wise Brown's unearthed lullaby poems to be published.

As Rus notes, the Guardian has been on a roll.
