My suggestion: revive the book section. Make it competitive withe New York Times's, because that's one reason why people in Philly are buying the Sunday Times, even though the Times's book section is hardly what it used to be. Bear in mind, if someone reads books, there's a high probability said person likes to read, period. Such a person might even want to read your newspaper.
Frank, forgive me if I've asked this before, but when you were at the Inquirer, did you ever get a sense of *why* the ads in most book sections are almost exclusively devoted to other books, and not other things book-readers obviously need, like bathtubs or clothing or tires or local services?
