Asylum …

In 2013, Delovan said a group from ISIS stopped his cousin as he was traveling in a van from Lebanon to Syria. 
"They said, 'Where are you from?' " he said, recalling what the sole survivor told his family. "'Are you Kurdish? Go this side. If you are Arabic, go this side.' "
They gave his cousin what he thought was water to drink, but it was an acidic liquid, Delovan said. He died, leaving behind two young children.
But don't dare call ISIS Islamic terrorists, no matter what that first initial means.
