My heavens, can you believe it? These people are shocked to discover that people back in the 19th century were not as sensitive as they think they are. God forbid students should learn what people actually were like decades before they were born. "You mean things weren't exactly as wonderful as they are now?"

What the hell is the point of going to school if the only thing you do is confirm that the way we are now is the only way to be because it's the best ever?
