Thoreau - ette

When I was in the cabin in Montana, far from the Internet, cell service and Philadelphia, I read a number of books, both real and electronic.  One of them was a book by Paul Theroux The Tao of Travel, where he collects his favorite travel writing and notes the best travel writing is of bad stuff.   I'm still working on a long form piece on my trip, which I will post as soon as Frank's check clears (kidding, kidding) and I will keep Theroux's advice in mind...
