— Lewis Carroll, born on this date in 1832
Did the quotation come with a source? Would Carroll have given "everyone" a plural adjective and then a singular noun?
Good catch, George. It is not even that old, but for some reason has recently been attributed to the Rev. Dodgson. I have accordingly put in a new, and true, quote.
