Hmm …

… 'Things fall apart': the apocalyptic appeal of WB Yeats's The Second Coming | Books | The Guardian. (Hat tip, Rus Bowden.)



The author of this piece might have wanted to pay attention more to what the title refers to and to the phrase spiritus mundi, and why the rough beast was slouching toward Bethlehem, rather than turning the poem into an op-ed on  today's news.
