A nice little hypocrite …

… Author who dog-piled Joe Rogan for use of N-word used N-word dozens of times in bestselling books - TheBlaze.

These days, he's typical. Do as I say, not as I do. Actually, really dumb.

  1. Although I disagree with Winslow's worldview, I'd have to say that his use of derogatory terms come from the mouths of his fictional characters, and not from his own speeches and essays. He is a crime novelist, and a good one, and he, like Mark Twain, should not be judged by what their characters say in a novel. That being said, I don't care for public cancel campaigns. If one does not like what Joe Rogan says, don't watch him.

  2. Something quite disconcerting is in the news today. While many are pleased about Rogan apologizing about his use of the N-word in the past, and also how he plans to change his show so that it is not such a font of misinformation that it has become, but one of counterpoint – I just saw a headline where he is being urged by Trump (whose Rumble just offered Rogan $100 million) to stop apologizing. It’s like he is being bought and told to step in line with Trump 100%, to play ball.

How disappointing, if Rogan would do this, to become a puppet, whose public words, thoughts, feelings, and actions, are being dictated, not by his own compass, but by the political strategy of a political and moral loser. It’s an attempt to silence a side of a supporter.

And now I read that someone who objected to his use of the N-word is a hypocrite. Well, who cares? What's the point? Is it okay to use the N-word, because only hypocrites will object? Or is it just a matter of attacking, to get the focus off the subject at hand: racism in America?
