Well worth visiting …

Shop 22 Artists.

Once upon a time, I ran an art gallery. I got to know a lot of working artists (my first wife’s father was an outstanding watercolorist). I’ve also seen a lot of art. The nuns who taught me in grade school encouraged us students to visit Philadelphia’s art museum, one of the best in the world. It was free back then, and I used to go there quite a lot and just stroll around and look at the paintings.
I had intended to visit this show that. I have linked to. But the night before I was planning to go, I slept terribly and had no energy the next day to do much of anything.
I know one of the artists — Felix Giordano — quite well. This show only features three of his recent paintings, all satires on the Covid fiasco.their message is clear — and I quite agree with it. Felix happens to be a fine all around, whose still lifes, landscapes, and portraits are excellent.
The other artists in this show are new to me, but they all seem excellent. The two by Nick D’Angelo seem especially. But they are all quite. If you can get out to Malvern, definitely stop in.
