The weather was rainy upstate during our visit - except for Thursday, when it was a bit hazy, but mostly sunny. Here are some shots. More to come.

    John Banville could write about the quality of light in those photos. Did you notice in _The Sea_ that he described the light in every scene? Very painterly.
