I am really going to have to try Pinter again. Perhaps I was too young when I first encountered him. Or p'raps it was because I *read* most of his plays, as opposed to seeing them. I suppose actors could do a lot with dialogue which looks rather pointless and disconnected on the page. Hey, maybe that's why I never much liked Ionesco, either.
