Frank, finally got around to seeing "300" this past Friday, a week after it opened, and with much of the past seven days' hoopla in mind .....
A LOT of sight and sound, and movement and meaning ... I'm still processing much of it ...
My own initial take on the politics ... it's more about freedom than democracy ... I suspect Leonidas and his 300 would have fought the good fight regardless, whether it was against Xerxes and the Perian Empire, or George Bush and the Coalition of the Willing ...
