Wow! She's certainly come out fighting - if this is a taste of things to come, it cld actually be interesting. And if it's the Laureate's job to catch the public mood, she's doing it - the disgust with politics in this country at the moment is quite extraordinary (tho we English tend to tire fast of such strong emotions and return to our resigned, good-humoured scepticism). Anyway, it's good to be rid of that tedious proser Andrew Motion and have an actual poet in the job.
