ReplyDelete(1) Liberal education is a vanishing species at American campuses where the emphasis is more and more upon specific career preparation; universities have catered to student (and student family) preferences by becoming vocational technical schools in too many cases. As a university instructor, I see the good old fashioned liberal arts education fading, fading, fading away.
