In the print edition of this morning's Inquirer I have an article about my favorite U.S. vice-president, Thomas R. Marshall, vice-president under Woodrow Wilson. I would very much like to link to it, but it doesn't appear to have made it online, one more demonstration of the incompetence that characterizes the paper's online component. On the other hand, Amy Rosenberg's story, which I included in the roundup of Inquirer reviews, I can't seem to find in the print edition. Unbelievable.
Frank it's not just incompetence -- it's news judgment too.
ReplyDeleteA Front Page story in Saturday’s paper was about some activst who yelled something at some meeting and then lost some oppurtunity to show up at some kind of graduation. I didn't really read it so I may be a little sketchy on the details. This is The Front Page of the Inquirer. And this is what is judged as News.
(BTW, loved the column on Marshall. Bought his book just now - 5.99 with shipping. Gotta love amazon -- in some ways of course, he added hastily...)
