If Tyson seems bemused about criticism of his fabrications and doesn’t take it seriously, he’s telling us that he sees himself as a showman. We’re not supposed to ask whether the events he talks about are real, fictional, or embellished, we’re just supposed to enjoy the show

Hi Frank, I just wanted to raise one point. Hot water is lighter than cold water. Might that explain why the surface temperatures are more?
ReplyDeleteIt might have some bearing, but heat still dissipates, as the Second Law indicates. The overall problem is that climate is a chaotic system regarding which what we know is a fraction of what might be known. Also, the primary business of science is to understand, not to prophesy.
