Hmm …

… Beyond Eastrod: the journey continues: The Scopes Monkey Trial -- The (ir)rational belief(s) in the Biblical stor(ies) of Divine Creation versus the rational understanding of empiricism, science, evolution, and life-and-death.



There is also this, however.



I have never been much of a fab of William Jennings Bryan, though the play Inherit the Wind is not the best source for the history of the Scopes trial. Bryan, first of all, did not take the Bible literally, and was the only one f the principals in the case who had actually read Darwin. I have always thought Darrow was overrated, too.
