Milestone …

… Zealotry of Guerin: The Crossing (Michael Antman), Sonnet #250.



Two hundred a fifty sonnets! Take that, Mr. Shakespeare. This particular one brings back memories of when I lived in Chicago for a while in 1968. I walked all around the city and can remember waiting just as the poem says (though not feeling so poetic, I suspect. By the way, Christopher mentions in an email that this picture may look photoshopped, but it isn't.

Anyone who reads this blog knows that Christopher's sonnets have been a Saturday feature here for long and long.
