Have enjoyed your comments on the blog for several years. Catholic convert who has worked for and worshiped in the Church for over 40 years, a lot of that leading RCIA. I have been unable to find a Newman citation that affirms your 'faith means the ability to bear doubt' note and wonder if you could send me in the right direction.
