Well, honey, the official name was Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, which translates as National Socialist German Workers' Party.

The Nazis were most certainly not socialists. The reason 'Socialist' was included in its name was to reinforce the impression that the party/movement was on the side of the workers. What any of this has to do with throwing milk is not quite clear to me.
