The Name of the Rose definitely, but Eco’s Foucault’s Pendulum even more. Toole’s book I found unreadable, and Sartre’s is not much better, though it is so bad it brings chuckles from time to time. I haven’t read The Place of the Lion, but I like Charles Williams. So I suppose I should read that one. As for ones to add, I’ll have to think about that.
