Reminds me of when I was in Norway. You can go into a local store and buy reindeer balls, in a jar like we know pigs feet, and a favorite treat is cod tongues, really a neck muscle, fried in dough. Apparently, such dishes were created when the country was poor, every part of the animal was not to go to waste.
