I happen to be Jesuitt-trained. The guys who taught me knew the faith. They weren’t hell-bent (literally) to revise the faith, like this clown.
I should add that I reviewed Father Martin’s novel The Abbey. I thought it wonderful.i actually agree that the Church might consider gay marriage. I’ve had a lot of gay friends and I think I know love when I see it. But when it comes to encouraging children about such things, I can’t go there. One of my grandsons, when he was about 12 or 13, told me he thought he was gay. I told him that it was thing at his age to make a life-determining decision. He might just find, when he was in high school, that the cute girl in a schoolyard was peculiarly attractive.
I don’t thinks he thinks he’s gay now.
