    I think that Michael Blowhard's piece, Coffee-House culture, lays out what I think is the true beauty and value of blogs. It is a culture of people talking about ideas, politics, books and everything else under the sun. They can be thoughtful, curious, and especially engaging when an argument is provoked.

    With that said, I appreciate how GOB closes the discussion with his Auntie by saying he hasn't earned a penny from it. Because that's not what it's all about.

    But back to Coffee-house Culture. I think the analogy to the coffee cafe is a good one. Though, of course, the stuff about commerce is where it gets sticky.
