According to Skeptic magazine, skepticism is “the application of reason to any and all ideas … it is a method, not a position.” Well, I have no objection to applying reason to any and all ideas, but I remain skeptical as to whether reason is the sole means of judging truth. You do not, for example, arrive at a knowledge of your own existence by a process of reasoning.
