Three for three ...

... Rosetta Stone, Byron and Zola.

I see that today marks the birth of A.J. Cronin, immensely popular in his day, but does anyone remember him now. Well, the British ought to, since he seems to have had more impact on the course of events than most novelists.

  1. I, for one, certainly do! I have collected almost all of his wonderful novels and re-read them often. He is my favourite author by a long shot. It amazes me that most of his books are out of print.
