I have perhaps three times written about politics on my blog. Each time it was an exhortation in general terms to take the higher ground and take action for social justice, never mentioning anyone's actual name. The Thoreau quote that one should read the eternities not The Times, I thoroughly agree with, and have taken to heart since whenever.
