OT: World-Champion Chase Utley . . .

. . . Earns Third Silver-Slugger Trophy.

Utley, 29, led all National League second basemen in several offensive categories, including games (159), hits (177), runs (112), runs batted in (104), on-base percentage (.383), slugging percentage (.583), and extra-base hits (78). His career-high 33 home runs in 2008 led all major league second basemen. In 2008 Utley became the third second baseman in major league history to record four straight seasons with 100 or more runs batted in.

Ah, now the guy's "offensive" leadership makes so much more sense!
