Conventional wisdom ...

... Clark Hoyt, the NYT "public" editor, thinks the NYT has handled the Climategate story "appropriately."

Clark Hoyt used to work for Knight-Ridder, which I used to work for. He was an apparatchik then, he is an apparatchik now. I have no idea why anyone would take anything he had to say seriously.

  1. Well, he's an employee of the MSM's version of Pravda. And "pravda" means "truth," doesn't it?

Bear in mind that regarding the anthropogenic global warming (AGW) hypothesis, you're dealing with a kind of secular religious belief system, and the dictates of the approved exegetical publications - like The New York Times - are important.

To maintain the AGW fraud, the support of the True Believers' journal of record is a must-have.
