Check this out ...

... In Brief / January 2011.

Another unique travel photography blog is recommended by one of its creators. Eric Mencher writes: “My wife and I are documentary photographers who live in Philadelphia. For years we’ve been planning and working on a photographic project on the Lincoln Highway, the nation’s first country highway (from Times Square to San Francisco). Last summer, we flew on US Airways from Philadelphia to San Francisco, drove east on the Lincoln Highway to Philadelphia, saw the dentist, did some laundry, then drove back to San Francisco on the Lincoln Highway. We shot more than 40,000 photos on this 11-week project, and I created a blog along the way (which is the point of my lengthy email). You can see the results at lincolnhighwayseen.blogspot.com.” Thanks, Eric — no reason not to recommend your own work when it looks this good.
