Two things I think worth noting: First, the science seems in a state of flux not because of any new discovery -- there is solid evidence for the Big Bang -- but rather because some scientists are choosing to come up with hypothetical universes that could adjust our view of things to more nearly approximate their metaphysical presuppositions. Second, I think those who practice a faith do so because of a sense they have that there is something personal in being that cares about them. I don't see that quantum physics in any way provides evidence for that. Georges Lemaitre, the man responsible for the Big Bang theory, told someone once that the reason he believed in God had much more to do with the human heart than with the grandeur of the cosmos.
