Thanks, Frank. And ole Lucie boy too. Should anyone care, I have been saying for a few months now that, in the new digital age, narrative wants to be short. And effective, of course. Years ago, getting a 30,000 word novel published was next to impossible, unless your name was Simenon. Now, I can't see the point in going much longer, and shorter wouldn't hurt. Compared with the old 65,000 minimum, this offers twice the chance of sales, twice the chance of good reviews. The game is changing.
