People always ask "What is the meaning or purpose of life?" when what they really ought to be asking is "What is the meaning or purpose of MY life?" That's the more relevant question. And there are a million answers. I for one have no doubt that the Divine can manage to provide guidance for all of them at the same time, without getting tripped up. It's we who trip ourselves up, not the Divine.
