Some years ago, Debbie and I spent two glorious weeks in Barberino Val d'Elsa, about 20 km south of Florence. There we met Danila Maneri and we are privileged to have one of her wonderful pressed-flower arrangements hanging our living room. Danila is immensely talented and a great person to boot. We still hear from her from time to time. If there is one thing I want to do before shuffling off my mortal coil it is to visit Barberino Vald'Elsa one more time.
