I leave this to the individual reader to make of it what he can. I will say this: I am not on the same page with George Monbiot on a number of issues. But I also have to say I think he is one hell of a journalist. His response to the East Anglia CRU emails indicated to me that this guy is authentic. I would love to see him sit down and talk with Freeman Dyson and Richard Lindzen about the climate debate. No. I don't think Monbiot would have a Damascus moment, but I do think we would get some really great reporting out of it, because I think George Monbiot is as honest as journalist as you are likely to see on this planet.
