I wrote a long reply on the original post, which boils down to the fact that his post makes massive assumptions based on the bad behavior of a few examples. Unfortunate to those of us who may be traveling both the indie road and the traditional publication road.
Probably the same reasons why I don't read self-published reviews. Gav who?
