Fascinating website, although it doesn't fit on my computer page!
There are those of us who remember a certain time in our lives not only by the song we recall (Beatles? Carol King? James Taylor?) but by the book or poem we first read then.
Indeed. I can still remember the day picked a copy of Eliot's Collected Poems (the one that ends with "Ash Wednesday") and reading "Preludes" and "Rhapsody on a Windy Night" on the El on my way home.
