Thought for the day …

To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting.
— e.e. cummings, born on this date in 1894

  1. I like the quote - I've even copied it and shared it - but I must object to the spelling of his name with small letters throughout, which is a kind of misunderstood mark of respect for his use of small letters in his poetry. His name should be spelt like everyone else's.

  2. You're probably right, but he did say that he only used capitals for things that he deemed IMPORTANT.
