One of the things I least understand about the contemporary world — and that I am the least sympathetic toward — is the anxiety that seems to permeate it and the corresponding preoccupation with security. God, if I had been bothered by that sort of thing, I would have missed out on some of my most interesting experiences.
I believe in Positive Uncertainty. This allows belief without proof, action without cause and love without attraction.
