The motto of De Paul is "Viam sapientiae monstrabo tibi" — "I will show you the way to wisdom." So vandalism is protected free speech at De Paul, but a display in support of Catholic doctrine is not— at least not to the extent that it should be protected from vandalism, or that the vandals should not be called to account for their acts? I just sent the good padre who runs the place an email asking him to clear up the cognitive dissonance.
