After reading several (long) novels in a row, I thought I'd take a break and return to my roots: Shakespeare. Two weeks, two plays: Othello and The Tempest. Both were new to me, and both were a welcome reprieve. Interestingly, neither is perfect; still, they did the job: a break from all the noise, and a return to language (when language meant something). I was happy to be back in that zone. I think I'll return soon enough. Up next, A Midsummer Night's Dream? Sounds good to me...
